| Royal Ascot is arguably the world's most famous
race meeting with a history and tradition dating back to 1711. After
a year of refurbishment Royal Ascot returned to its Berkshire home

What to Wear?
It depends which enclosure you are going to. If you
are in the general public areas then a smart suit will suffice.
If you are in the Royal Enclosure then men are required to either
wear black or grey morning dress (with a waistcoat), and you must
keep your top hat on at all times in the Royal Enclosure. You can
also wear military uniform, or if you are from a foreign country you
are also entitled to wear national dress
